Design apartment hotel
The six loft-apartments epitomise the perfect recipe for a stay in Amsterdam: the intimacy of your own home combined with the luxury of a hotel. Each of the incredibly spacious apartments retain authentic details of their industrial heritage. Tall windows ensure lashings of natural daylight. While the Scandinavian-infused urban vintage interior and gorgeous artworks create an idiosyncratic atmosphere. Furthermore, the apartments are just a stroll away from Amsterdam’s ‘must-sees’, such as the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and the charming ‘nine streets’ shopping district.
The apartments each accommodate two to four guests and are housed within Hal 17. This elongated building – now an industrial monument – once served as a carriage house for horse-drawn trams and is a worthy addition to the enormous 'De Hallen complex’. This former tram depot was recently transformed into a cultural, culinary and creative centre and is full of hidden treasures just waiting to be explored. The complex is also where Hotel De Hallen can be found and although Apartments de Hallen is ‘off-site’, the two adjacent buildings are woven together by the rich history they share.
